Three words...
Georgia Southern University
Yes, I was dead set on going to Southern before I even visited the campus.
But what made me SO sure?? Well as a junior, six of my best girlfriends graduated. Two went to North Georgia, one to Georgia Tech, one to UGA, and two went to Southern. The first couple of months after they got settled into college, I asked all the girls about their college experiences so far. They all had great things to say, but all in all, everyone "liked" where they were at. Everyone except Shelby and Kathryn, the Southern girls.
They had gone down in early August and Rushed (joined a sorority) and had been having the time of their lives. They didn't just "like" their college experience so far, they LOVED it. I knew then that Georgia Southern was the place for me. All my thoughts were confirmed when I finally visited early this February. On the drive down, I was praying that I would truly be as in love with it as I thought I was. My expectations were surpassed. It was everything I had imagined and then some.
